How We Work

Research & Proposal Fee

A non-refundable USD $100 fee applies for up to three proposals or three sets of dates at the same property if you do not yet know the hotel or destination.

Fee Waiver

If you have already chosen a hotel in our luxury portfolio and have established your travel dates and room category, research fees are waived.

Administrative Fee

A USD $75 per room administrative fee applies for reservations with a total base rate under USD $1,000 (before taxes and resort fees). Additional fees apply for multiple proposals.

Consultation & Proposal Fee

A non-refundable $500 fee is assessed for our time and expertise and is due prior to commencement of planning. Planning up to three pre- or post-cruise extension days is included with cruise bookings.

Reduced Fees

If you have already selected the cruise line or escorted tour and have a general idea of your destination, travel dates, and stateroom or suite category, fees may be reduced.

Loyalty Points & Credits

Hotel and cruise loyalty points, future cruise credits, rewards certificates, and similar redemptions applied to reservations are subject to approval and fees apply.

Group Administrative Fee

For groups of 8 or more travelers on a cruise or escorted tour, a $100 per person administrative fee may apply for group management, in addition to the research and proposal fee.

Hotels

Cancellations at any point, as well as modifications resulting in a shorter stay or lower room rate, are subject to a USD $75 per room administrative fee.

Under Deposit

Cancellations for bookings under deposit are subject to a USD $250 per person administrative fee.

After Final Payment

If the reservation is cancelled after final payment, bookings are subject to a USD $1,000 administrative fee above and beyond supplier penalties. Cancellation fees should be included in your insurance.

Planning Fee

A $500 non-refundable fee is assessed and due prior to commencement of travel planning for curated trips for up to six travelers for up to twelve days. Fees may increase based on group size and/or trip duration.

Cancellation

In the event of a cancellation after the proposal has been accepted and is under deposit, we reserve the right to charge a 15% administrative fee plus 3.5% credit card recovery fee on the total trip cost, over and above all supplier penalties.

Late Booking Surcharge

A USD $250 surcharge applies for customized itinerary planning within 60 days of departure.

Service Fee

Bespoke services not part of a customized tour are subject to a 15% service fee plus a 3.5% credit card recovery fee. These include airport transfers, private drivers/guides, theater/event tickets, ferry tickets, and local city tours. Fees are charged at confirmation and are non-refundable.

Domestic / Rail

Rail or domestic airline research, ticketing & flight management: USD $100 per person.

International

International airline research, ticketing & flight management: USD $150 per person.
